We booked Gloria Hotel, Tashkent (Dec 17–20, 2024), via Agoda for one of my guests, trusting its high rating, but the experience was disappointing due to a major issue with the heating system. We reserved a Deluxe Room, but they were downgraded to a Standard Room because heating system on 4th floor was not functional and only worked up to 3rd floor. There was no compensation or proactive communication from hotel, and staff directed me to Agoda for any refund of price difference. Agoda’s lack of clarity and support compounded problem, leaving us frustrated and dissatisfied. This was my last booking with Agoda Application and at Gloria Hotel Tashkent. Lack of accountability from both Agoda and hotel overshadowed the stay, and I recommend travelers choose alternative options for a better and smoother experience.
